For many, the word “ecotourism” congers up images of hiking through a tropical rain forest, but Melanie Thornberg, through her company Dakota Adventures, organizes equally incredible ecotours in North Dakota.
Melanie partners with a variety of individuals and organizations to offer visitors unique, fun and educational adventures in the Rendezvous Region and other parts of the state that have rich histories and incredible natural resources. Whether it is joining a dinosaur excavation with real paleontologists or bird watching with expert guides, participants leave with memories that last a lifetime.
